MRV is Atomic’ s new developed side link RWD chassis which features a new idea, inspired from 1:10 pan car (Fenix Racing), the V-Link pivot system.
With this new solution we can further lower the chassis roll center which we cannot make it before, because there is physical limitations that we cannot fix a center pivot ball below the chassis plate… For example, the MRZ and similar platforms on the market which use Horizontal center pivot ball.
While the V-Link system offering a “virtual roll center”, where the imaginary joint of the 2 short pivot links, that is ultra-low and result in more mechanical grip when the car attacking corners, more mid corner speed and linear steering respond. In human words: easier to drive, more rear grip, more speed come out from corners.
other features:
- 3 positions quick change roll center: Low, Mid, High (Low offers more grip, High offers less grip but faster rear rotation)
- 7075 Aluminium Chassis plate (Able to add 6 x 1.5-gram mass)
- Front Single Arm system (optional DWS also available)
- 24mm wide big block battery compatible
- 16mm motor compatible
- Stock car come with Dust Guard Ball Differential
- Servo Saver is available as an option. (same SKU as MRT, MRX)
- How do you choose between MRX and MRV ? Answer: MRX is more suitable for open class with high KV motors and big tracks, because link-less system offers better overall stability. MRV is good for lower KV motors, such as 2500kv or stock class, since the MRV is lighter and more responsive in handling especially suit for small or tight tracks.
